goodnight daniel

Goodnight Daniel is an indie rock trio from Richmond, VA. The group features songwriter and guitarist Brett Jones, bassist Garen Dorsey, and drummer Daniel Richardson, three close friends who have played together in a variety of bands around Virginia (Gold Connections, CGI Jesus, Cream Dream, Angelica X, Ing). They have a stripped down guitar trio sound that leaves space for musical twists and shifts and surprises. Although their arrangements are tight and composed, their performances are expressive and improvisational, demonstrating that at its heart their music is all about three friends having fun. Goodnight Daniel has put out two EPs and plans to release an album in 2024.
